About
Cloudlogicapps is a Hong Kong practice focused on how money leaves the branch — not on rewriting your whole finance function.
Why we exist
Multi-outlet groups in Hong Kong often close the books from head-office extracts while the story of spending still sits in branch drawers: handwritten claim forms, supplier invoices stamped at the counter, and float counts that never match the cash book. Cloudlogicapps was formed to examine that gap with patient field work rather than another policy memo.
Origin
The practice began after repeated year-end rushes where finance teams discovered duplicate catering claims and unsigned petty-cash vouchers only when external auditors asked. We started offering focused expense samples for retail and F&B groups that needed answers before the board pack, not after.
How we work
We visit outlets during quieter trading windows, speak with managers in Cantonese or English, and test a defined sample of claims against the group’s own policy. Findings are written as exceptions with cash exposure estimates — not as abstract control scores.
People
Engagement managers have backgrounds in internal audit and commercial finance for Hong Kong multi-branch operators. Field assistants prepare document request lists and support float observation. We do not publish invented titles; the person who signs your report is the person who led the sample.
Values in practice
- Prefer primary vouchers over second-hand summaries
- Separate policy gaps from individual misconduct unless evidence supports it
- Keep language plain enough for a branch manager to act on
- Stay within the agreed sample — expanding scope requires written agreement
Location
We meet clients at Prince’s Building, 10 Chater Road, Central, Hong Kong, and travel to outlets across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories by arrangement.
